





























a new kind of musical instrument, designed for those who want to make sound, but are discouraged by the existing tools. new players are empowered to explore the natural expressiveness of their own voice, and encouraged build fluency by tying basic harmonic structures to their emotional identities. chromachord ignores the intellectual limits of traditional learning and asks the player to make a more intuitive, personal connection to what’s being played. vocal input is processed via granular synthesis, and color-coded to build chords not learned by memorization, but by feeling. senior capstone project for my Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Thomas Jefferson University - East Falls.
